“Shura” tilted after her first name . Is about an elderly woman that has dedicated her life to saving migrants crossing the border. The documentary explores the condition in which the immigrants are faced with and to what extent the volunteers will go to help these people in need. This is a film that will enlighten people who are not aware of the situation that happens on the border and explores the kindness of one human being to another.
SHURA has won Best Short Documentary at the 2024 Rochester International Film Festival and Best Short Film at the 2024 Festival de Cine Latino Americano. Shura has been nominated for various other film festivals and was on the 2024 Oscars Shortlist for Best Documentary Short. IMDB
CHICANO SQUAD

Chicano Squad features a cast of Spanish speaking cops in Houston during the 70s, that were hired to solve murders in Hispanic communities. Simply due to overcoming the language barriers in these communities they became one of the most successful homicide units in American history, even to this day.
Chicano Squad is a film by Jesse Garcia that is currently in development. This concept trailer was created using a mix of original and archival footage.

AI Companions is a docu-series concept that explores that explores the connection between humans and AI interfaces. This first episode focuses on the AI companion, ElliQ, a companion robot designed specifically for seniors to both combat loneliness and provide medical assistance.

Brian Peterson is the founder of Faces of Santa Ana, an organization that paints portraits of men and women who are experiencing homelessness as well as providing resources and assistance. Brian’s work can also be found throughout Santa Ana on the sides of various buildings, including some of our own emergency shelters. Brian truly embodies what it means to love the homeless, and how to make love an action.

METANOIA

Metanoia was produced as a part of the 2023 LA 48 Hour Film Festival. The given prompts were to make a silent film, featuring paint as a prop, and the line of dialogue “wait for it”. Metanoia is a surreal film exploring the concept of purgatory, bringing together strangers that faced particularly upsetting deaths, and helping them to pass on peacefully to the afterlife.

The attached video along with 6 other videos produced in 2020 were created as part of an internship program with Mercy House Living Centers. The goal of this internship was to create a backlog of informational videos for the non-profit and to draw more funding to the media team.
LMU Day of Giving - 2019 Campaign

Loyola Marymount University celebrates their yearly Day of Giving, an alumni donation campaign that allows alumni to donate to their college/program of choice. This video was created along with a series of other videos through the LMU Marketing & Communication department and drew in over $1 million in donations for the 2019 Campaign.

Instead of spending months desperately trying to find work, they band together to form a marketing agency with little to no real world experience. These six young adults learn together how to run a successful company, all without having to leave their bedrooms.

This documentary explores her experience as an immigrant living in Germany, the struggles she faces due to being away from her family, and how her eccentric drag persona allows her to escape it all.
